Manager, Indirect Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead indirect procurement for materials, services, and capital projects (e.g., lab supplies, facility management, equipment purchases).
  • Partner with stakeholders to define needs and build sourcing strategies that align with site goals.
  • Manage sourcing events, supplier selection, and contract negotiations following company policies.
  • Oversee supplier performance, resolve issues, and drive service and cost improvements.
  • Work with Finance to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and spend tracking.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, GxP, and regulatory standards.
  • Use ERP systems (SAP/Ariba) for purchase orders, supplier data, invoices, and spend analysis.
  • Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support audits, inspections, and maintain procurement documentation.

Looking for:

  • 6 years of procurement or Supply Chain Experience
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry.
  • 2 plus years of managerial and supervisor experience.
  • Indirect procurement experience (CapEx, services, capital projects, large scale facilities and MRO)
