Ambulatory Clinical Tech Oncology Infusion PRN

This position requires at a minimum two 8-hour shifts every 6 weeks. There is potential to work up to part time hours when needed, and available. Please note that you would need to be able to train at a minimum of part-time hours for the initial 4-8 weeks.

About the Practice

The LHCP Outpatient Infusion Center is a fast-paced infusion center providing high quality care and treatment to individuals with malignant diagnosis. Examples of our treatments include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, injections and supportive care such as hydration, anti-emetics, and blood product transfusions. The ACT supports the nurses with delegated clinical skills as well as building relationships with patients and providing supportive care.

Scope of work  

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicates observations to members of the health care team.

Qualifications  

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
