As a Security Officer - Commercial Site - Full Time in Oakland, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming environment for all visitors and occupants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Maintain clear and concise communication with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and any incidents that occur on site.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
