What You'll Do:
As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a vital role in acquiring high-quality inventory for our dealerships. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing Leads: Handle inquiries from the KBB Instant Cash Offer Program and other sources, ensuring timely follow-up and professional engagement.
- Vehicle Appraisals: Inspect and evaluate vehicles using tools like CarFax and vAuto, considering condition, mileage, and accident history.
- Negotiating Offers: Present competitive purchase offers, address customer objections, and close deals to acquire vehicles.
- Customer Education: Guide customers through the appraisal and buying process, building trust and providing a seamless experience.
- Prospecting: Identify private sellers and engage with service drive customers to expand inventory opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed on market trends to make accurate appraisals and competitive offers.
- Reconditioning Coordination: Work with the service team to prepare purchased vehicles for resale.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous automotive sales or appraisal experience is preferred. Familiarity with tools like KBB and vAuto is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to connect with customers.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other automotive tools.
- Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean record is required.
