Lead Quality Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance to international management systems standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.
- Performs Quality systems audits and risk assessments.
- Coordinates special process audits and acts as a Liaison with external auditors.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy. Basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
- Coordinates Cause and Corrective Action Investigations
- Supports nonconformance dispositions and MRB submittals
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years in Manufacturing). + a Minimum of 3 years in Quality, or Production.
