Service Center Manager-Sante Fe Springs, CA

This role will report to the Group Vice President.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the Operations, Logistics, and Program Management activities associated with the assigned Service Center to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of products.
  • Work with the Regional management team to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Ensure Customer programs meet expectations through customer engagement, audits, and routine maintenance of bins and racks.
  • Coordinate with Customers, Sales, Distribution Center, and Supply Chain to ensure that optimal Service center and program inventory levels are maintained for program customers. Including adjusting SC min/max, program bin quantity, and replenishment schedule.
  • Provide leadership to the Service Center associates to implement best practices, improve efficiencies, and facilitate operational continuous improvement projects.
  • Support operations projects such as customer launches, program implementations, and expansion or reduction of operating facilities to support Service Center activity.
  • Responsible for monitoring & facilitating dock-dock & discrete orders being shipped from DC
  • Responsible for delivery vehicle maintenance, repairs, and compliance.
  • Other duties as required.

LOCATION:

Primary work location will be Sante Fe Springs, CA

Travel requirements will be limited.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of five years of operations management experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Minimum of five years of experience with VMI, Kanban, or other inventory systems requiring a triggered replenishment from a warehouse infrastructure.
  • A working knowledge of inventory management (APICS certification a plus)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and processes.
  • Experience with facility management.
  • Experience with fasteners and fastener quality standards strongly preferred.

Work Hours: 8
AM-5PM, Monday-Friday

Targeted Salary:
90-115k (depending on experience)
