Duties

  • Conduct regular pool inspections to assess water quality, chemical levels, and overall system functionality.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, vacuuming pools, brushing surfaces, and emptying skimmer baskets to ensure pristine conditions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and automatic cleaners using hand tools and power tools.
  • Repair or replace faulty mechanical components to prevent system failures and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Adjust chemical balances to meet safety standards and ensure healthy swimming conditions.
  • Document all maintenance activities accurately in logs or digital records for compliance and tracking purposes.
  • Respond promptly to service requests or emergency situations involving pool issues or equipment malfunctions.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance procedures to protect yourself and others from hazards.

Experience

  • Proven service technician experience in pool maintenance or related fields is highly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues with pool systems efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment repair, including troubleshooting pumps, filters, heaters, and other mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques using various hand tools and power tools to achieve optimal results.
  • Prior experience working with pool chemicals and maintaining proper chemical levels for safe swimming environments.
  • Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive problem-solving skills to identify potential issues before they escalate.
