Sr. Java API Developer

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified
Sr. Java API Developer
with 10 + years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in JAVA, AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Angular JS, JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in the Payer domain is mandatory. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Roles/Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience with developing and implementing applications
• 5+ years experience in API development, Java, Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java, spring boot , spring security, GraphQL, ReactJs , Java script
• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Knowledge Graph, Prompt Designing, Semantic Search, Vector DB, Large Language Model (LLM), Langchain, and Prompt Engineering.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with developing and implementing applications
• 5+ years experience in API development, Java, Spring Boot
• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java, spring boot , spring security, GraphQL, ReactJs , Java script
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Knowledge Graph, Prompt Designing, Semantic Search, Vector DB, Large Language Model (LLM), Langchain, and Prompt Engineering.
• Experience with implementation and release management activities
• Good understanding of unit/system and functional testing methodologies
• Experience working in large transaction-based systems
• Experience writing technical designs
• Experience documenting technical functions

Salary And Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $81,337- $ 140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
