Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Facility Patrol Driver in West Henrietta, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will engage with employees and visitors, providing excellent customer service and communication while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the food and beverage facility to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal policies.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
  • Remain alert and attentive during patrols to help to deter theft, property damage, or other disruptive behavior within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
