Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various subjects and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working with students of different ages, including children and adults, to enhance their understanding of the material and improve their overall performance.

Duties

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Develop customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning objectives.
  • Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Assist students in understanding complex concepts in subjects such as Biochemistry, Statistics, and Physiology.
  • Support early childhood education initiatives through appropriate instructional strategies.
  • Maintain effective classroom management skills to promote a productive learning atmosphere.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge in Biochemistry, Statistics, Physiology, and other relevant subjects.
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching, with a focus on classroom management techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, including those in early childhood education and adult learners.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Patience and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
  • Experience working with students in both formal classroom settings and informal educational environments is highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $ $29.18 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
