Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and mentor front desk to achieve service and operational goals.
- Ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests by maintaining high service standards.
- Oversee daily front desk operations, including scheduling, reservations, and guest services.
- Step in to cover front desk shifts as needed, including overnight audit.
- Participate in the hiring, training, and performance management of associates.
- Maintain strong working relationships with all hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Manage room inventory, rate strategies, and occupancy forecasting to maximize revenue.
- Enforce cash-handling, credit policies, and key control procedures.
- Conduct daily team huddles and regular staff meetings to ensure clear communication.
- Uphold all Marriott and brand standards, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor and address guest feedback, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- When assisting in the Bistro, ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and exceptional service.
- Assist with maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of front office and public areas.
Must-Haves:
- 2+ years in hotel front office or guest service management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Familiar with PMS systems and hotel reporting tools
- Available for flexible shifts (including early mornings/weekends)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Hilton or Marriott system experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
