We are seeking 1 Full Time Childcare Worker to join our team These individuals will plan and present age appropriate activities for children, as well as perform basic cleaning in their assigned spaces.

Full time position is from 9a - 6p working with 2 year old children. Potty training and diapering is required for this position. There is space for 16 children in the class with 2 teachers in the room. (The legal ratio for this room is 1:10)

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment
  • Implement schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
  • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students
  • Keep classroom clean by performing basic housekeeping such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning surfaces, cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, etc.

Qualifications:

CDA is a PLUS

  • Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Ability to build rapport with children and parents
  • Positive and patient demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
