Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Moving Cars safely and efficiently to their destination. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle various driving responsibilities, including shuttle driving, delivery driving, and paratransit services.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate shuttle vehicles, ensuring timely transportation of passengers to designated locations.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed for those with mobility challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes that may occur during transit.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while prioritizing passenger safety at all times.
  • Handle heavy lifting as required when assisting passengers with luggage or other items.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that may arise during transport.

Experience

  • Previous experience in shuttle driving or similar roles is preferred.
  • Delivery driver experience or commercial driving experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with bus driving or school bus driving is advantageous.
  • Experience in limousine services or paratransit operations is desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
