The Highlands at Brighton, an affiliate of UR Medicine, provides more specialty care services than any other transitional or long-term care facility in our region. Units: Rehab, Memory Care, Ventilator, Neurobehavioral, Long-Term Care
Status: Part Time or Full Time
Shift: Evenings
Compensation: $18.50/hr.-$28/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in promoting quality of life for our residents.
- Assists residents with all ADL's.
- Takes vital signs and weights and reports to RN/LPN team leader.
- Ambulates, lifts and transfers resident as per individual care plans.
- Assists with feeding residents, tray distribution and recording of intakes per policy.
- Interacts and fosters a positive relationship with staff, residents, and families consistently projecting a positive, caring, courteous and responsive environment.
- Observes and reports resident needs, abnormal conditions and/or behavioral changes.
Job Requirements
- Successful completion of NYS approved Nursing Assistant program
- Current NYS Nurse Aide certification in good standing
