Job Summary

Come scoop with us We are seeking a friendly and energetic Crew Member to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service. This role involves engaging with customers, preparing and serving food, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and excellent customer service skills.

Duties

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payment handling.
  • Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and food prep stations in compliance with sanitation standards.
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Follow food safety guidelines during food handling and preparation.
  • Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Experience in cashiering, food preparation, or serving roles enhances performance in this position.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and managing sales upselling are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety standards, and kitchen operations is advantageous.
  • Prior restaurant or café experience will help in adapting quickly to the role's demands. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
