Ask us how we do it at the Y- it's awesomeWhat is needed for this job:18+ years of age, 3-5 years of experience in gymnastics settingHigh school diploma or equivalentHave strong communication skills with desire to meet everyone at their level of experienceEnjoyment from working with children and keeping positive relationships with their parentsUSAG Safety Certification PreferredThe responsibilities we will trust you with: Provide a safe environment, encouraging, and supportive environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs and have an enjoyable YMCA gymnastics experience in their specific progressive or competitive program Arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled class and be prepared with equipment set up and ready to begin at scheduled timeEvaluate program skills; complete progress reports for each session; complete communications for parents; complete incident reports; take attendanceAssist in the instruction of program skills and character development objectives and techniques in accordance with YMCA standardsProvide supervision to program participants and actively participate in all aspects of the programWear proper attire in accordance with YMCA standardsManage participant behavior using collaborative approach with supervision and parentsFollow approved positive support techniques to develop and refine gymnast's skillsAttend staff meetings and trainings as requiredWhat you can expect:Support from an amazing team which includes training you on expectationsOpportunities to learn and growBeing a part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community strongerGreat members to work with every dayAfter reading this, if you're thinking this is me-  we want to meet youGet the ball rolling with our quick, 3-minute online application.The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is an equal opportunity employer.
