Position Introduction/Key Duties

Cimarron is seeking a senior-level
IT Asset Manager
to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

Key Duties

  • Maintain the IT hardware and virtual asset baseline to ensure accurate configuration and tracking.
  • Manage and update the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for IT hardware in coordination with Property, Purchasing, Asset Management, and the Digital Receiving teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, improve, and document IT asset management processes and procedures.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of configuration artifacts and asset inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate and track the renewal of IT support agreements to maintain continuity of service.
  • Serve as a liaison between the enterprise user community and the Property team to ensure proper disposition of hardware assets.
  • Promote and support Configuration Management (CM) integration across multiple functional groups.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education :

  • This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire.   • Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
  • 8 or more years of general, full-time work experience.
  • 6 or more years of general IT experience.
  • 4 or more years of directly related experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Technical knowledge of enterprise environments.

Desired Skills, Experience, And Education

  • Proficiency with MS Visio.
  • Current DoD IAT Level II Certification (ex., Security+ with CE).
