A GSE Mechanic Level II is responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on both motorized and non-motorized airline and aircraft ground service equipment, including tugs, belt loaders, pushbacks, and trucks.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues per manufacturer guidelines and safety standardsInspect, maintain, and repair critical systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systemsService equipment with fuel, oil, hydraulic fluid, water, and compressed airRemove, test, repair, or replace components such as carburetors, governors, and ignition systemsLog equipment numbers to be repaired with description of work to be done on each pieceExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

18 years of age or olderEligible to work in the United States3 years of verified experience requiredMust provide their own tools and toolboxDemonstrate regular, predictable attendance at job locationMust have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving recordCommunicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screen Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
