Travel Recreational Therapist Opportunity

Assignment Details – Recreational/Activty Therapy

• Specialty: Behavioral Health
• Location: The Ridge Behavioral Health in Lexington, KY
• Duration: 13 weeks with potential to renew
• Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• Shift: Days, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Enhanced hourly rate & tax-exempt stipend where applicable
• Weekly rate: $2,207 - $2,499
• Bi-weekly pay
• Paid travel to/from assignment

Job Duties To Include

• Develop and implement recreational therapy treatment plans
• Attend the interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
• Provide therapy consistent with level of growth, development, age, and functioning
• Contribute to program design within the recreational therapy department

Travel Therapist Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation
• Licensure/Certification: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
• Experience: at least one year of inpatient mental health experience
