We are a privately owned Oregon based company. We have been providing services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for more than 20 years. Each of our homes currently serve three gentlemen that have lived together for more than 15 years.

These positions are in our 24 hour Residential Group Home in Corvallis. We are seeking motivated, compassionate and skilled Direct Support Professionals to provide daily living assistance to our residents. DSPs must be comfortable working with individuals who have Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, mental health & challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities and Daily Duties:

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and carry at least forty (40) pounds of weight without assistance when performing household duties, shopping, or assisting individuals served.
  • Be willing to actively participate in developing and implementing plans to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Transporting Group Home residents in company vehicles
  • Administration of medications and treatments
  • Preparing and serving meals and snacks
  • Completing daily documentation on residents activities, behaviors, medication administration etc.
  • Light housekeeping to maintain a safe living environment
  • Accompanying residents to physician visits, community activities and more

Job Requirements

Applicants must:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • be able to read/write/speak English clearly
  • be able to lift 40 pounds safely
  • be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and valid insurance.
  • be insurable to drive company vehicles.
  • Applicants must pass the required training tests within 30 days of hire.

Ideal Candidates may have previous experiences in human services - direct care - overnight direct care - mental health - special needs - foster care.
