Plant Designer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Designer to join our team in Norcross, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing industrial plant layouts, equipment, and piping systems using advanced design tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed plant designs and layouts using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Plant 3D.
- Create general arrangements (GA's) and detailed drawings for equipment design and piping systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess design requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all design aspects.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in plant design, equipment layout, and piping within industrial plant settings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Plant 3D software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial plant design.

Pay: $78, $94,529.30 per year
