This position supports Senior Leadership and provides recommendations and insights for them to make strategic decisions. This role will focus on developing, automating, and maintaining complex standardized reports, dashboards, balanced scorecards, and ad hoc reports sourced from disparate data sources to quickly move from the 'what' and 'why' type questions and into the "what if" and 'predictive' type questions that are more actionable in nature.

  • Extracts knowledge and insights from data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis, and/or visualization techniques.
  • Provide predictive analysis, business intelligence, pattern recognition, operational effectiveness, and/or economic forecasting
  • Provide fact-based objective recommendations to the customer and personnel related to assessment activities, findings, and results concerning operational capabilities, limitations, and operational impacts.
  • Participate In large cross-functional teams and initiatives and provides recommendations and insights to Senior Leadership in order for them to make strategic decisions
  • Train end users how to do "self-service" reporting and train/mentors peers. Maintain documentation and training materials related to both reports and reporting environments (data definitions and source-to-target mappings)

Basic Qualification:

Education: Bachelors in Business or Finance and 8 years of business intelligence or related experience

  • BI Toolsets - Microsoft Power BI, IBM Cognos Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce Reporting, or similar
  • DB Querying - Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM Db2, MySQL, Microsoft Access
  • Ability to read, write and debug more advanced/complex SQL queries (sub-queries, self-joins, stored procedures - required)
  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) - advanced Excel skills required. Microsoft Visio for DFDs and source-to-target mapping exercises (required)

Basic Qualification:

Education: Master in Computer Science or Statistics preferred and 10 years of business intelligence or related experience

  • Familiarity with best practices on the creation and development of standard reports, KPIs, and Dashboards with filtering, drill-down, alerts, scheduling, and automated delivery capabilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills - (including excellent presentation skills to senior leaders and larger audiences).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Organized, demonstrates initiative and is detail-oriented.
  • Proven problem solver and strong descriptive and diagnostic analytic skills.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize their own work with minimal direction to achieve goals.

Additional Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $105, $125,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
