As one of our Machine Operator's you are responsible for setting up, running and adjusting the manufacturing equipment to produce a safe, quality, productive product. No two days are the same in this fast-paced factory

PURPOSE:

As a Machine Operator in the Sioux Falls production plant, you will be responsible setting up, running and adjusting manufacturing equipment to produce quality plastic film and bag products in a safe working environment. You will report to the Section Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow and support all Company safety, GMP and HACCP policies
• Adjust a variety of equipment in a timely fashion to maximize yields
• Make minor repairs and aid in trouble shooting
• Perform required quality checks and understand quality standards
• Assist in packing as needed
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Three to six months experience working in a manufacturing related field
• Understanding of air rings and extruders
• Ability to train new employees
• Ability to operator a fork lift
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the company
• Ability to read and understand work orders
• Ability to work independently

PAY: From $ 19.00/ hr

• Attendance is important You must be reliable, punctual and consistent.
• You adjust a variety of equipment in a well-timed manner to maximize outputs.
• Make minor repairs and aid in troubleshooting.
• Perform required quality checks and understand the quality standards.
• Inspecting product for quality & ensure packing requirements are met.
• Knowledge in the use of these items will be needed: fork lift, measuring tools, an understanding of rings and extruders.
• Follow and support all Company safety, GMP and HACCP policies.
• Overtime is readily available in this position.
