Work Schedule:



6 days a week; 10am - 6pm, during tech/show week, hours run until 11pm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overseeing all Wolf Trap Opera daily schedule and facilities and coordinating general company management and artist services. Supervising the WTO Daily Schedule, and take responsibility for its creation, management and dissemination. Collects information from the various constituent groups, and uses independent judgement to prioritize requests based on WTO goals, rehearsal space availability, and other WTO and Foundation considerations. Works closely with Director, Artistic Operations and Company Manager to execute WTO internal events; staffing, event set up and hospitality needs. Assists with setup/strike for opening night parties, seminars and pre-show talks. Manage all incoming mail and distribute as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Opera or related field plus 2-4 years' experience in production administration within a professional arts organization. Knowledge of opera, strong computer skills, a valid driver's license and vehicle. Must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, and highly organized. Excellent communication and time management skills.  Ability to work under pressure, and the capacity to seek and synthesize information. Must be available to work 40-50 hours, six days a week including evenings and weekends, from May - August.
