Position Summary:

  • The Senior Office Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the Lane Company. This position provides high-level administrative support to the Owner while managing office operations, vendor relationships, Human Resources function, including payroll coordination, accounting processes, and ISO documentation. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Functions

Office Management

· Follow company processes and procedures for the accounting function.

· Manage vendor relationships, including cleaning services, vending machines, and other facility-related vendors.

· Purchase and maintain office and general supplies to support production and administrative functions.

· Serve as the on-site point of contact—answer phones, greet visitors, and provide general administrative support.

· Perform Accounting Duties for Accounts Payable and Receivable.

· Manage invoicing and collections.

· Support payroll processing through ADP; coordinate with payroll provider as needed.

· Assist with customer and vendor setup processes to ensure accurate recordkeeping.

Human Resources

· Support HR functions, including employee onboarding, regulatory awareness, and compliance.

· Schedule and participate in employee reviews and meetings.

· Coordinate with temporary staffing firms for workforce needs.

· Manage hiring processes, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.

· Support employee relations and maintain confidential personnel files.

· Coordinate employee benefits, including insurance and 401(k) programs.

Executive Assistant

· Provide direct administrative support to the Owner to ensure organizational efficiency.

· Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as needed.

· Manage calendars, meetings, and communication on behalf of the Owner.

· Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

· Perform other duties as assigned to support executive and company objectives.

ISO and Quality Management Support

· Assist with ISO compliance activities, including internal audits.

· Maintain organization and accuracy of documentation related to quality systems.

Qualifications:

· Associate's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

· 5+ years of experience in office management, executive assistance, or administrative roles (manufacturing experience preferred).

· Strong understanding of general business processes, accounting practices, and HR functions.

· Experience with ADP or similar payroll systems.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general office technology.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

Preferred Attributes:

· Prior experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership.

· Willingness to learn and assist with accounting processes.

· Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities and serve as a "go-to" resource across departments.

· Positive, professional demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.

· Familiarity with ISO documentation and internal audit processes is a plus.

Working Conditions:

· On-site position within a manufacturing office environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
