We are looking for a CMA who has an interest in working with naturopathic doctors. No previous knowledge of naturopathy is required, but we are looking for someone who is curious and willing to learn about it Training for everything connected to naturopathic medicine practices will be provided.
This position is well-suited for someone with great energy who is able to triage and multi-task. You will support day-to-day operations by performing tasks that aid the doctors in keeping the momentum of care continuing for the patients. You will serve as a liaison between doctors and patients and doctors and front office staff.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Rooming patients and taking vitals
- Reviewing treatment plans and supplement lists with patients at the end of their appointments
- Preparing tinctures
- Filling B12 / BComplex Injections
- Administering B12 / BComplex Injections
- Organizing patient sample collections to send off to the lab
- Reviewing referral letters
- Pre-authorizations and insurance denials/appeals
- Fulfilling prescription refill requests
- Reviewing and sending lab orders
- Researching lab tests and supplements
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22 - $26 per hour (depending on certification and experience)
