Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and experienced caregivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, energetic, and have a genuine passion for helping others. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity within their own homes. We are seeking candidates to fill shifts for different days and times, including day shifts, night shifts, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate care to clients in accordance with their personalized care plans
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organization
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
  • Support clients with medication reminders and adherence as per instructions
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by following health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role in a healthcare setting
  • Experience with memory care and transferring (hoyer lift experience a plus)
  • Empathetic and compassionate demeanor
  • Ability to follow care plans and instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Level 2 background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification is a plus (CPR, HIV, CNA/HHA, Alzheimer's/Dementia)
  • Valid driver's license with clean record, reliable vehicle with insurance
