Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Restock all items as needed throughout the shift.
  • Responsible for guest service, packing food in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner.
  • Work as a team in a collaborative and consistent manner during every shift to ensure guest satisfaction.

Take Out:

  • Take orders over phone and in person.
  • Use point of sale system to ring in orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensures order accuracy every time.
  • Ensures payment is received and accurate.
  • Stocking, organizing and cleaning to-go station.
  • Organize and label orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize and understand third party delivery services.

Host:

  • Hosts are the first point of contact for customers, greeting them and taking them to their tables.
  • They also manage waitlists, take reservations, and ensure tables are evenly distributed among servers.
  • Hosts might also be responsible for answering phones and handling other guest inquiries.

Server:

  • Servers take food and drink orders, serve food and drinks to tables, and handle customer service needs.
  • Process payments and ensure guests are satisfied with their experience.
  • Work closely with hosts and other staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient table turnover.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Assist with guest relations by providing information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members alike.
  • Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for efficient order processing.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn about restaurant operations and guest services.
