Purpose
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for achieving excellence in inventory management through effective data management and ordering procedures. The Supply Chain Analyst is directly responsible for the inventory, transportation and warehousing of Gränges International customer accounts to ensure all orders conform and meet Gränges and customer's shipment expectations. The Supply Chain Analyst will be the expert on efficient and effective order management.
Job Responsibilities
- Process all customer orders in a timely manner and in compliance with customer care best practices to facilitate superior on time and in full to our customers
- Ability to adjust, adapt, respond to, and be resourceful in the face of change to deliver business objectives to every changing customers' demands
- Provide timely information/knowledge regarding order management process, procedures and system maintenance
- Create and maintain customer data within the following: Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP System, External Customer Systems and department applications including Excel and PowerPoint
- Recognize and reconcile any potential order conflicts such as delivery/shipping delays, pricing errors, promotional allowances, and out of stock situations to ensure customer orders will deliver on time and in full
- Resolve and/or escalate critical order issues to achieve customer goals and priorities
- Interact directly with Gränges partners in Sweden and Shanghai to ensure customer orders are processed in a timely manner
- Monitor shipments to ensure that material is received on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods with transportation companies
- Collaborate with customers, inside sales, and quality/technical to effectively manage orders against forecast and production quantities. This includes maintaining effective communication with customer, sales, and vendor/mill to changes in demand or production capacity
- Manage customer inventory to ensure in-stocks, weeks of supply and aged inventory is reviewed weekly or biweekly as needed by request
- Manage supply chain end-to-end considering a lead time of 16-24 weeks
- Consistently strive for continuous improvement by developing & sharing knowledge with others include visits to educate customers/planners

Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
- Supply Chain and/or Order Management experience, preferably with Automotive/OEM customers

Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years' experience in Customer Order/Supply Chain Management
- Experience working with Automotive and/or OEM customers
- Demonstrated organizational agility and superb communication skills (both written and verbal) required
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and the ability to quickly learn other software programs
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Domestic & International travel (15%) as required
- Must be able to work flexible hours
