The Licensed Massage Therapist will play a vital role in enhancing client satisfaction and supporting their wellness goals within a professional spa or medical setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
- Provide therapeutic services aimed at pain management, stress reduction, and improving mobility.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness routines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment adhering to occupational health standards.
- Document treatment details accurately in client records while respecting confidentiality protocols.
- Stay informed about new massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current credentials.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Proven experience in patient service, customer service, and occupational health environments.
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to customize treatments effectively.
- Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare settings is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members while demonstrating professionalism and empathy. Join our team to help clients achieve their wellness goals through expert massage therapy delivered with care and professionalism.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $ $70.00 per hour
