Position Summary
Our commitment to excellence drives our need for a talented and motivated IT Support Analyst to join our IT team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT systems and providing comprehensive technical assistance to all employees. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for resolving a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues, maintaining IT systems, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment through exceptional technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier 1 and 2 support for end-users across multiple on-premises sites, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Administer, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventories and documentation for supported systems.
  • Contribute to the automation of repetitive IT tasks using tools such as PowerShell or other scripting languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects and system rollouts.
  • Provide support for security configurations, patch management, and endpoint protection in line with company standards.
  • Support the implementation and adherence to cybersecurity best practices; knowledge of frameworks like NIST, CMMC, or ISO 27001 is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in an IT help desk or technical support role, demonstrating a strong track record of resolving complex issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and common business applications.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi) and ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and patient demeanor when assisting users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working in regulated or security-conscious environments (e.g., DoD, manufacturing, finance).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Travel between local office or site locations as needed (valid driver's license required).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
