Bel Air Recovery Center is looking for an Addictions Counselor to join our team This is a full time position offering the opportunity to provide substance abuse treatment services to clients enrolled in Methadone treatment.

** MUST HAVE LICENSE FROM BOARD OF PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS**

Job Description

We are looking for a licensed addiction counselor to:

  • Provide individual, group counseling and case management services for assigned caseload.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain treatment plans and update every 90 days.
  • Maintain case records per policy and in accordance with regulations.
  • Provide necessary documentation and consents with outside providers or organizations to help coordinate care; including inpatient treatment.
  • Provide referrals and follow up to facilitate patient use of agency and community support systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must pass background check and urine screen.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A current and valid certification with the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists required, minimum Trainee Certification required. (ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD)

Additional Information

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:15am- 12:15pm;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
