We are seeking a skilled Automotive/Diesel Technician to join our service team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of vehicles , with a focus on gas and diesel pickup trucks The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience with diagnostics and repairs, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with shop experience and expertise in various systems such as engines, transmissions, Fuel systems, steering and suspension, brakes and HVAC are highly preferred. This role is essential in maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of our fleet and customer vehicles.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive and diesel engines using schematics and diagnostic tools
  • Conduct repairs on transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts, brakes, HVAC systems, and other vehicle components
  • Operate power tools and hand tools to assemble, repair, or replace vehicle parts
  • Repair and replace electrical components, tires, and perform welding or soldering as needed
  • Conduct vehicle alignments and perform brake system inspections and repairs
  • Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with high quality standards

Experience

  • Proven experience as an automotive or diesel technician; shop experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with schematics for electrical system diagrams
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques
  • Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting or tire service
  • Prior service technician experience with a focus on vehicle maintenance or repair is preferred
