#1: PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR in South Miami/West Kendall area

Our chain of elite preschools is growing and we need a dynamic director for an established center in the South Miami/Kendall area. We value in our directors a solid commitment to children's growth and education and a friendly personality that parents instantly like.

  • Florida director credential is a must. Prefer at least 2 years as a Preschool Director. Will consider three to four years of experience in an Asst Director role or another management experience with supervisory responsibilities over employees.
  • VPK Director endorsement strongly preferred or should be willing to obtain it

    within 3 months
  • Should have had experience in the classroom even though the position does not

    require teaching. But our directors do spend time in the classroom teaching the teachers. We do not hire directors who are comfortable only in the office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48, $52,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance, training, and support to promote professional growth.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to foster strong relationships and open communication regarding their child's progress.
  • Maintain accurate records related to enrollment, attendance, and student assessments.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and program effectiveness.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of the program.
  • Promote an inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages participation from all families.

#2: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR in South Miami/West Kendall area

  • Should enjoy office/admin tasks such as giving tours, assisting with tuition payments, managing attendance records, assisting teachers and parents
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, internet a must
  • Should have had experience in the classroom even though the position does not

    require teaching.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18 to $20 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.

  • Maintain accurate records related to enrollment, attendance, and student assessments.
  • Submit for reimbursements from food program and ELC

Pay: $38, $52,000.00 per year
