Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
The Director of Sales is responsible for directing the planning, organization, and implementation of Sales and Business Development activities for the Division.
· Formulates revenue strategy.
· Ensures that revenue goals are met or exceeded and works to develop markets in new geographies.
· Directs, trains, and appraises Account Executives.
· Oversees, in coordination with Senior Management, short and long-term strategic sales and marketing planning. Updates and monitors the feasibility of strategic plans on an on-going basis.
· Researches and analyzes environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs, and market trends. Designs strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and ensures that strategic plans complement market place needs.
· Formulates the sales and marketing budget. Ensures that marketing activities are cost effective, efficient, and within established budget constraints.
· Maintains in-depth knowledge of Company products, operations, and systems.
· Leverages current alliances and customer relationships to further expand business development opportunities at all levels.
· Assumes responsibility for developing new market opportunities.
· Maintains a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products, and competitors to support business development opportunities.
· Networks with industry leaders and builds relationships to facilitate expanded sales opportunities.
· Effectively manages the Company's sales force, ensuring optimal performance.
· Provides leadership to Account Executives through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts sales meetings as required.
· Conducts performance appraisals. Provides suggestions for improved performance. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.
· Ensures the delivery of products and services within established timeframes. Works to exceed customer expectations.
· Promotes goodwill and a positive image of the Company. Ensures that the Company's professional reputation is maintained.
· Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Company associates and management.
· Assists and supports related departments. Obtains and conveys information as needed.
· Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns.
· Attends and participates in meetings and committees as required.
· Completes reports, records, and other documentation as required.
Required:
· Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or Related field. Master's is preferred.
· Five plus years of managerial experience.
· Five plus years of related business development, marketing, and/or sales experience.
· Excellent understanding of market penetration strategies, market development techniques, and market segmentation strategies.
· Analytical and technical skills.
· Presentation skills.
· Able to build a collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
Other Duties:
· Adhere to confidentiality rules and all other company policies, procedure and rules as presented by Company.
· Perform other duties assigned at Senior Management's request.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90, $120,000.00 per year
