Pool Technician

Job Summary

This is a training position with the goal of advancing to a Pool Service Technician role within 6–12 months. Hardworking and dedicated team members will have opportunities for promotion, additional training, and increased earning potential.

Seeking a motivated and dependable Pool Technician Assistant to join the team and train under an experienced professional of 25 years. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, traveling around town seeing new things, and working outdoors. You'll learn how to maintain, service, and repair residential and commercial swimming pools while developing the skills necessary to advance into a full Pool Technician role.

Duties

• Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and repair pool equipment issues, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct thorough inspections of pool systems to identify potential problems or necessary repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their pool needs and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used during each visit.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working with chemicals and equipment in various environments.

Experience

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with tools is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
