Associate Attorney

Located in beautiful Bellingham, halfway between Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., we are a rapidly growing law firm specializing in estate planning, probate, real estate transactions, and business law. We are proud to serve a wide range of clients, including many queer and ethically non-monogamous families and individuals.

Position Details:

• Location:
  Bellingham, WA (in-person; not remote)
• Schedule:
  Full-time or part-time considered
• Travel:
  Minimal

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and services primarily in estate planning, probate, real estate, and business law
• Manage an active caseload while meeting deadlines
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Washington State
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Tech-savvy and able to learn a variety of software programs (our firm is paperless and tech-forward)
• Ability to multitask and manage an active caseload
• Experience practicing estate law (including estate planning and administration)
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, organization, and work ethic
• Commitment to an inclusive, collaborative workplace and client-centered service
