Position Overview

MedSrv is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Representative to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and reviewing critical information from a variety of sources, including attorneys, auto insurance carriers, hospitals, medical practices, courts, and record retrieval companies. What You'll Do

  • Proficient in reading and comprehending simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, legal documents, and correspondence. Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Demonstrates articulate communication skills and utilizes proper grammar.
  • Capable of navigating through multiple programs efficiently.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Applies common sense to effectively carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Able to solve problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations. Demonstrates understanding and application of federal and state laws where applicable.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of related experience/training (or equivalent education and experience)
  • Knowledge of office software and medical billing software
  • Professional, polite, and customer-service oriented
  • Ability to work well with others in a close office setting
  • Strong focus and ability to concentrate for extended periods
  • Team-oriented, cooperative, and adaptable

Physical Requirements

  • Able to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
