Sr. Financial Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Plano, Texas. This position will play a vital role in supporting our corporate financial planning and analysis (FP& A) functions within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to deliver accurate financial insights, collaborate with multiple departments, and drive strategic initiatives. This is a 6 month contract position offering a hybrid work schedule (in office Tuesday and Wednesday).

Senior Financial Analyst (contract position):

Responsibilities:

This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely cash flow projections that support our financial planning and decision-making processes.

• Manage corporate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes, ensuring precision and reliability in financial results.

• Collaborate closely with teams across Accounting, Finance, Production Engineering, and Purchasing to align financial goals.

• Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute capital investment strategies.

• Conduct detailed variance analysis to provide actionable insights that influence decision-making.

• Deliver clear and concise reports to senior management, focusing on capital expenditures, depreciation drivers, and prioritization recommendations.

• Support the implementation of new capital investment tools to enhance operational efficiency.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.

• Utilize advanced analytical tools to analyze trends, identify opportunities, and solve complex problems.

• Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on financial strategies and objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Exceptional analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across departments.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Hyperion, or similar tools is highly desirable.

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including managing large datasets and employing advanced formulas.

• Proven ability to think creatively and proactively address challenges with innovative solutions.

• Familiarity with SAP BPC or SAP HANA is a plus.
