- Ensure regulatory compliance and minimize environmental risks across operations.
- Develop and implement environmental programs and strategies to meet regulatory requirements and reduce waste.
- Manage EPA Hazardous Waste and Title V Air Emissions programs, including reporting and training.
- Prepare and submit permit applications; serve as liaison with regulatory authorities.
- Lead environmental projects ($200K–$1.5M) and manage SHE department budgets.
- Maintain and troubleshoot compliance systems and regulatory equipment (e.g., CEMS, RTO).
- Author environmental procedures and ensure staff training on compliance requirements.
- Stay current on environmental regulations and sustainability trends.
- Serve as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) or Assistant RSO as needed.
- Uphold security and safety policies; authorized to halt operations in case of imminent hazards.
- BS in a technical field + 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and compliance systems
- Proven experience in environmental oversight and reporting to regulatory authorities
- Data analysis and trend identification
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead projects and coordinate team efforts effectively
- Exposure to manufacturing environments, chemicals, and airborne particles
- Use of PPE required (safety glasses, shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, respirator)
