Targeted Victory is seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to lead our presence across key digital platforms. The ideal candidate is an expert in leveraging
Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
and
X (formerly Twitter)
to drive engagement and grow our audience. This role is highly focused on content creation, requiring a strong
affinity for high-quality photography and compelling written content
.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with organizational goals and reflects the unique local culture and activities of the state and the candidate.
- Content Creation Plan, capture, edit, and produce daily, original content, including photos and videos, for Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Copywriting Write clear, engaging, and brand-consistent copy for all social media posts, campaign materials, and community interactions.
- Platform Management Oversee day-to-day community management, including monitoring trends, responding to comments and messages, and actively engaging with our followers.
- Travel & Fieldwork Regularly travel to attend events, capture real-time moments, and gather visual assets.
- Analysis & Reporting Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics, using data to inform and optimize future strategies.
Trend Monitoring
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform updates, and technological advancements.
This position is for individuals who are self-starters driven to follow new marketing trends and opportunities, and should have
- Experience Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or a similar role. Political campaign experience or 1+ years in digital marketing/social media management.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and growing professional accounts on Meta (Instagram and Facebook) and X.
- Exceptional skills in digital photography and visual storytelling.
- Outstanding writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
