Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled In-House Attorney to join our legal team and provide comprehensive legal counsel across a diverse range of practice areas. Duties

  • Provide expert legal advice on a broad spectrum of issues including fraud, conspiracy, real estate, title disputes, hostile member conflicts, multi-party conflicts, asset protection and tortious interference law
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to safeguard company interests while fostering positive relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on relevant laws and regulations affecting the organization.
  • Manage litigation processes by coordinating with external counsel when necessary and overseeing case developments from inception through resolution.
  • Develop and implement internal policies ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws; advise management on regulatory changes impacting operations.
  • Support the legal administrative functions by maintaining organized records of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Provide training sessions for staff on legal topics such as legal drafting best practices, research techniques, and regulatory compliance procedures.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the bar in relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in a law office setting or corporate environment with a focus on multiple practice areas including litigation, estate planning, environmental law, or intellectual property.
  • Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms; ability to synthesize complex legal information clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent writing skills with a demonstrated ability in legal drafting for contracts, policies, reports, and correspondence.
  • Familiarity with legal administrative processes such as document management and case tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills capable of balancing assertiveness with collaborative problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of real estate laws & regulations is a plus; experience in law is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze legal issues critically while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
