Summary

We are seeking an In Home Caregiver to join our caring team with HomeBridge an extension of Westminster Towers. This role is essential in providing non-medical caregiver services to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their daily activities. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to ensure resident safety.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care or caregiving is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs+) and assist residents with mobility needs.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when working with seniors.
  • Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
