Shift :Nights 7:00am-7:00pm, variable days including weekend rotation

The role you'll contribute:
The Patient Care Technician/Unit Liaison (PCT/UL) is responsible to perform duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or Registered nurse in compliance with established process standards, structure standards and protocols of the assigned unit. The (PCT/UL) works in cooperation with all team members in an effort to accomplish departmental goals and objectives. The (PCT/UL) role is multi-disciplined. When assigned as a PCT, the primary function is the delivery of competent, compassionate, and cost effective care. When assigned as a Unit Liaison, primary function is to perform clerical duties, provide professional service to our healthcare team, visitors and patients.

- Ensures personal hygiene and comfort care is delivered to all patients.
- Observes and reports changes in skin condition to the licensed nurse, implementing preventative measures as needed within scope of practice.
- Responds promptly to nurse/patient intercom systems.
- Obtains and reports vital signs and lab specimens per hospital policy.
- Transports patients as directed by licensed nursing personnel.
- Provides direct patient care for catheters, tubes, and dressing changes as directed.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
- High School Grad or Equiv Required
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
- 1 healthcare certified nursing assistant clinical experience Required
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate Preferred
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
