Basic Purpose and Scope:

Process, verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, while following all federal, state, and Litehouse regulations and policies - Always
  2. Ensure paperwork is accurate to ensure order accuracy, proper billing and inventory is maintained. Compare information of outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records - 60%
  3. Coordinate loads with truck drivers. Ensure all paperwork is filled out as required by truck drivers including proper signatures and any shortages flagged - 15%
  4. Process miscellaneous record keeping as assigned - 15%
  5. Liaison with Customer Service, Transportation, Scheduling and Inventory Control departments to process order modifications and ensure shipments are timely -10%
  6. Provide notification to necessary parties if shipments are not completed as ordered - Ongoing
  7. Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeep throughout the facility and grounds - Ongoing
  8. Ensure correct entries into factory software - Ongoing
  9. Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor - Ongoing
  10. Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements - Ongoing
  11. Other activities and duties as assigned - Ongoing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:

  1. Education: High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred
  2. Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: None
  4. Strong keyboard skills
  5. Ability to read, comprehend and write basic correspondence
  6. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of the organization
  7. Able to compute basic mathematical calculations
  8. Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language
  9. Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  10. Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
