As we launch, we're looking for a licensed Master Plumber who's ready to take a leadership role and share in the success of the business as a Managing Partner.

The Opportunity

The Master Plumber / Managing Partner will serve as the qualifying license holder, oversee field operations, ensure code compliance, and help lead day-to-day management decisions. You'll have both operational authority and a direct stake in the company's growth and profitability.

Position and Responsibilities

In this role, you will serve as both the qualifying Master Plumber of record and a Managing Partner in the business. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all plumbing operations, permits, and technical compliance
• Managing and mentoring field technicians and apprentices
• Ensuring adherence to state and local plumbing codes and safety standards
• Supporting business strategy, growth, and operational excellence
• Participating in management decisions and representing the company professionally in all dealings

A Managing Partner in ClearLine will hold both operational and strategic responsibilities. Your role will blend leadership, management, and often direct industry expertise. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this position:

1. Strategic Leadership

• Set and implement long-term business goals.
• Develop growth strategies and business plans.
• Analyze market trends and competition to guide company direction.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities

2. Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the business.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Implement efficient systems for scheduling, dispatch, and job tracking.
• Monitor inventory and equipment needs.

3. Financial Oversight

• Create and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reports.
• Approve major expenditures and investments.
• Ensure timely billing, collections, and overall financial health.
• Work with accountants or financial advisors on taxes and compliance.

4. Team Leadership & HR

• Hire, train, and manage staff, including plumbers, apprentices, and office personnel.
• Set performance standards and conduct evaluations.
• Build a positive company culture and maintain employee morale.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.

5. Customer & Client Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Resolve escalated customer complaints and service issues.
• Oversee quality control to ensure customer satisfaction.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all licensing, insurance, and permits are current.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Minimize legal risks and manage vendor and subcontractor agreements.

7. Marketing & Business Development

• Develop marketing strategies to attract new clients (online, local ads, partnerships).
• Represent the company in community events or industry associations.
• Manage the company's online presence (website, social media, reviews).

8. Technical Involvement

• Review complex project scopes or blueprints.
• Provide hands-on support for high-priority or emergency plumbing jobs.
• Train junior plumbers or apprentices on best practices.
