As a leader in the hospitality industry, we believe our people are the heart of our success. We are currently seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time position which will report to the Director of Human Resources/Employee Training & Development and support our mission of excellence in both service and employee engagement.
Position Summary
The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the human resources function, including recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, compliance, and HR administration. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive and productive work environment that aligns with our company values and hospitality culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full employee lifecycle — from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding.
- Assist department managers to identify staffing needs and coordinate hiring efforts.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
- Assist in employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Create and maintain accurate digital and hard copy personnel records.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Monitor attendance, leave, and performance evaluations.
- Promote company culture through employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Support HR projects such as policy development, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Assess training needs across departments and create annual training calendars.
- Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs focused on service excellence, leadership, and compliance.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new team members are set up for success.
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
- Foster a learning culture that promotes employee engagement, retention, and internal mobility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, or restaurant).
- Solid understanding of HR practices, employment law, and HRIS systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Workforce NOW, ADP. Microsoft Suite,
- Assist with offboarding activities as assigned, including but not limited to, processing terminations in ADP Workforce Now and TimePro, reviewing resignation letters, and supporting managers and the Directors with offboarding duties.

Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Some late evenings may be required based on business and training needs.)
