We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team within a dynamic manufacturing facility. Responsibilities

· The Composites Manufacturing Engineer will be required to formulate work instructions from challenging, complex aerospace products to meet all customer system requirements

· Responsibilities to include but are not limited to: determining complex bill of materials, sequence of assembly, selection of required equipment, solving production problems, analyzing current manufacturing planning processes, designing/reviewing necessary tooling, creating manufacturing document, and developing working relationships with a multi-disciplined team of people

· Hands-on oversight of the day-to-day status to ensure team objectives and customer requirements are met

· Review customer drawings and specifications to evaluate them for producibility and economic factors relating to product design and fabrication costs

· Develop products process fabrication/control documentation

· Design/draft for required tooling to meet program production rate and quality requirements

· Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) and technical interface with customers for program status updates, program reviews, and problem/solution meetings

· Assist QC in root cause analysis for any failure of product requirement and development of corrective action

· Peer review build documentation and tooling design

· Assist in detailed and complex proposals in support of customer RFQs and/or RFIs

Skills

  • Strong project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working closely with Planner, QC and Sales.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis techniques for troubleshooting complex manufacturing issues.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAM programming tools.
  • Experience programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of tooling design.
  • Mechanical engineering background with solid understanding of composites equipment and fabrication techniques.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and AS9100 standards.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, GD&T specifications, and process engineering documentation.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to assembly, tooling design, and fabrication processes.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with composites preferred. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer passionate about advancing manufacturing technology through innovative solutions and process optimization strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $90,000.00 per year
