Duties

  • Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches at certain locations.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential hazards or unauthorized access.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures, including loss prevention strategies and access control measures.
  • Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety for all parties involved.
  • Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.

Skills

  • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems.
  • Excellent conflict management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively.
  • Familiarity with security equipment and technology such as CCTV systems and alarm systems.
  • Demonstrated integrity, vigilance, and attention to detail in safeguarding property and personnel. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety of our community while working in a professional environment dedicated to security excellence.
