Job Description

As a Security Guard - High-Rise Patrol in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and management, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and respond to alarms, tenant requests, and suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner; escalate issues and request assistance when needed.Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports and logs; communicate security-related information to property management and Allied Universal leadership.Support daily property operations by providing directions, assisting with deliveries and contractor access as directed, and maintaining a professional presence while following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
